You may be thinking why black and white? Why not carry on with the 3D animations? Well, rest assured that we are, but we really felt that it was time to revisit the original content that started it all, and give it a refresh! (and there's a special cameo appearance in there from your favourite bear!)
The original idea for Hey Bear was to create an app for our second daughter, Anna, after observing how our first daughter, Elizabeth, had loved all of the black and white edged baby toys. We wanted to create an app that had visuals that babies could track, with simple objects and soft movement. We launched Baby View on the app store, it was downloaded over a million times, and has been used everywhere from homes to eye hospitals in the Philippines! We're always humbled to be able to help families in some small way, and this is the most rewarding job we never knew we wanted to do!
Going forward we want to develop some new ideas, but we want to make sure that the original concept gets a bit of tlc. It's important to us that we're inclusive, and make videos for a wide (ever expanding) spectrum of people and families.
